7 am – 4 pm, $20.00
The African American Breast Cancer Conference — “Each One Reach One: Working Together to Make a Change” will take place on May 1 from 7 am – 4pm. The purpose of this annual conference is to help raise awareness about breast cancer in African American communities and to provide women with culturally–appropriate information and education to help them make informed decisions about their health, and to empower them to be advocates for themselves and their loved ones. African American women of all ages and health status encouraged to attend, including those who are 40 and under and is a great event for cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, family members, friends, community advocates, health professionals/providers, and the general public.
Registration fee is $20 per person and includes official conference program materials, tote bag, deluxe continental breakfast, lunch, and inclusion in all raffle prize drawings (must be present to win). Registration deadline is April 28. Limited scholarships available to cover registration for those experiencing financial hardship.
